Antique Davenport, Edwardian Tilt Top Desk Victorian Taste The lid hinges to revealOur Stock # 10. 1464 This is an antique, Edwardian davenport dating to the early 20th century, c. 1910. Raised on the original ceramic castors and slender tapered legs, the front legs slightly swept, this fine example displays good grain detail and a smooth waxed finish. Expertly inlaid with garland and vase motif to the cupboard door, drawer front and stationery lid, panels are framed with boxwood stringing. The writing surface features a gold, twin
